Notifications

This page allows system administrators to create notifications that will send an email to an address of their choosing should something occur in their SmarterMail HA cluster. Each notification type offers the following fields:

• Email Address - The email address to send the notification.
• Notification Interval - How often the email notification will be sent. Emails are sent in this interval until the issue is resolved.

Hub Failure Event

This notification is sent should a hub go offline, go inactive, or otherwise become unresponsive.

Node Failure Event

This notification is sent should a node go inactive, or otherwise become unresponsive.

Node Failover Success

In a failover scenario, standby nodes will automatically engage should a node fail or go inactive. This notification is sent once a standby node successfully engages and goes active should another node fail.

Node Failover Fail

Conversely, if a standby node fails to go active should another node fail, this notification is sent.
