Searching Notes

If you have a large number of notes in your notes list, finding a specific one can become increasingly difficult. Fortunately, SmarterMail's basic search tool allows users to find notes quickly and easily.

To search, type your search criteria in the search bar located near the top of the All Notes view, then click the magnifying glass or press Enter on your keyboard. SmarterMail searches both the Subject and Description of every note for matches and displays the results in place of the current list.

Note: Search only looks through note folders that are currently visible in your folders list. If you want a search to include a shared note folder, make sure its eye icon is toggled on before you search — folders that are hidden aren't included in the results, even if you have access to them.
